Framed unsigned oil painting. Presumably based on the original by Carl Werner (1808-1894). The work shows the excavated Sphinx with the pyramids in Giza.
Oil on canvas on cardboard. The work has been freshly cleaned. The time of origin should be around 1890. frame from time. some flaws in the stucco layer (see photos).
