Gerahmtes, nicht signiertes Ölgemälde. Vermutlich nach dem Original von Carl Werner (1808-1894). Das Werk zeigt die ausgegrabene Sphinx mit den Pyramiden in Gizeh.

Öl auf Leinwand auf Karton. Das Werk ist frisch gereinigt. Entstehungszeit dürfte ca. 1890 sein. Rahmen aus der Zeit. einige Fehlstellen in der Stuckauflage (siehe Fotos).

 

Maße ca.: 39 x 33 cm (Rahmen); 26 x 20 cm (Leinwand).
